Description
This handmade cup is distinguished by its rich, sculptural form, expressive handle and elegantly raised foot. Its surface combines deep browns and charcoal tones with warm golden and bronze nuances. Natural colour transitions and fine surface textures give the piece a lively and distinctive character.
The cup was fired for more than 100 hours in the Dūkštos Anagama wood-fired high-temperature kiln. During the long firing, wood ash carried by the flames naturally melted onto the surface, forming an ash glaze and individual flame marks. Every Anagama-fired piece is one of a kind and can never be reproduced in exactly the same way.
Height: 9,5 cm
Diameter 9,5 cm
Comfortable for coffee, tea or small beverage rituals. Its expressive form and surface also allow it to be appreciated as a small collectible ceramic piece.
