Description
This handmade lidded container is distinguished by its tall cylindrical form, sculptural lid and calm, balanced proportions. Warm brown, amber and earthy tones transition into greyer and darker areas, while layers of naturally formed ash glaze and individual fire marks give the surface depth and vitality.
The shape of the lid echoes the character of the vessel, creating a harmonious and unified whole. Each side of the piece reveals a slightly different surface, making it rewarding both to use and to admire.
Indas degtas Dūkštos Anagamoje daugiau nei 100 valandų, nenaudojant iš anksto užteptos glazūros. Ilgo degimo metu liepsnos ir medžio pelenai natūraliai suformavo pelenų glazūrą, spalvų perėjimus ir individualius ugnies pėdsakus. Šie procesai suteikia kūriniui vienetinį išskirtinumą, kurio neįmanoma vienodai atkartoti.
Height: 20 cm
Diameter: 11 cm
Suitable for storing tea, spices or small objects, it can also serve as a distinctive interior accent. Its sculptural form and expressive surface allow it to be appreciated as a collectible ceramic work.
