Description
This handmade cup is distinguished by its restrained, slightly conical form, rounded handle and subtly textured surface. Soft grey and earthy tones blend with warm golden nuances, while the deeper, fire-kissed interior gives the piece added depth and expression.
The cup was fired for more than 100 hours in the Dūkštos Anagama wood-fired high-temperature kiln. During the long firing, naturally formed ash glaze and flame marks created its individual transitions of colour and texture. Every Anagama-fired piece is one of a kind and can never be reproduced in exactly the same way.
Height: 8 cm
Diameter 11,5 cm
Comfortable for espresso, tea or an everyday beverage ritual. Its subtle form and surface also allow it to be appreciated as a small collectible ceramic piece.
