Description
Šis rankų darbo Chawan arbatos puodelis sukurtas laikantis japoniškos wabi-sabi estetikos, kurioje vertinamas natūralumas, asimetrija ir nepakartojami medžiagos bei ugnies palikti pėdsakai. Han-tsutsu-gata – tradicinė pusiau cilindrinė Chawan forma, pasižyminti gana tiesiomis sienelėmis, vidutiniu gyliu ir stabilia proporcija.
Light creamy and warm yellow tones are crossed by deeper brown and dark flame marks. Naturally formed ash glaze shifts between smooth, glass-like areas and more tactile, textured surfaces, giving the piece depth while preserving the visible history of its firing.
The Chawan was fired for more than 100 hours in an Anagama wood-fired high-temperature kiln, with no glaze applied beforehand. During the firing, flame and wood ash spontaneously shaped the colours, natural ash glaze and yohen – kiln transformation – marks on the surface. As a result, every Anagama Chawan is entirely one of a kind and can never be reproduced in exactly the same way. yohen – krosnies transformacijos – pėdsakus.
