Description
This handmade cup is distinguished by its rich, deep surface, where charcoal and earthy brown tones blend with warm golden and ochre nuances. Vertical glaze runs and subtle transitions between matte and more glass-like areas give the piece vitality and visual depth.
The cup is decorated with a wood-ash glaze developed by Beatričė Kelerienė and fired in a wood-fired high-temperature kiln. During the firing, heat, flame and the kiln atmosphere transform the glaze, creating individual colour transitions, flowing patterns and textures on every piece.
Height: 8 cm
Diameter: 7 cm
Compact and comfortable to hold, the cup is suitable for tea, coffee or small beverage rituals. Its expressive surface also allows it to be appreciated as a small collectible ceramic work.
