Description
This small stoneware bowl has a rounded form with gently flaring sides and a small raised foot. Its simple proportions allow the pale, naturally varied surface to become the main visual focus.
Soft grey, cream and sandy tones dominate the glaze, scattered with darker brown and charcoal speckles formed during the firing. Some areas have a gentle sheen, while others remain more matte and lightly textured.
The bowl was wheel-thrown from stoneware and finished with an ash glaze made with natural wood and plant ash. At high temperature, the glaze materials melt and interact, creating subtle variations in colour, speckling and texture across the surface.
Height: 7 cm
Diameter: 12,5 cm
Suitable for snacks, nuts, desserts, sauces or other small servings. Its pale palette and naturally speckled surface also make it easy to combine with other ceramic tableware.
