Description
This small stoneware cup has a simple, balanced form and a warm, earthy surface. Its straight walls flare gently toward the rim, while a small dark foot lifts the cup slightly and gives the form a lighter appearance.
Ochre, brown, sandy and muted grey tones move across the surface. The glaze varies naturally, creating subtle colour transitions and visible horizontal throwing lines. Its matte, gently textured finish is pleasant to hold, while each side reveals slightly different tonal variations.
The cup is made from high-fired stoneware, giving it strength and making it suitable for everyday use. Its handleless form invites the cup to be held in both hands, encouraging a slower and more tactile tea experience.
