Description
This rounded stoneware bowl has a simple, restrained form set on a small dark foot. Its understated silhouette allows the strongly textured surface to become the main visual focus.
The surface is rugged and covered with fine pits and irregularities reminiscent of porous stone or cooled lava. Smoky grey, earthy brown and darker mineral tones move across the bowl. Variations in colour and texture developed through the clay composition, firing conditions and making process.
Height: 8,5 cm
Diameter 11 cm
The bowl can be used for small servings, nuts or other snacks, or displayed as a decorative ceramic object.
