Description
This elegant ash-glazed vase has a rounded body, long slender neck and subtly flared rim. Its restrained classical silhouette provides a quiet background for the expressive surface, where colour and glaze movement change around the entire vessel.
A creamy ivory ground is animated by deep blue-black areas and warm brown-golden accents. The ash glaze merges into soft transitions in some places and forms more pronounced runs and irregular markings in others. As the vase is turned, a different composition of colour and surface becomes visible.
The vase was wood-fired at approximately 1300 °C. At high temperature, the ash glaze melted, flowed and reacted with the clay surface, creating variations in colour, sheen and texture. Because these effects are shaped during the firing, the resulting pattern cannot be reproduced exactly.

The vase is suitable for a single flower, a few branches or a small botanical arrangement, and can also be used as an interior decorative object. Its expressive surface makes it equally effective when displayed on its own.
