Jug, hand made ceramic pitcher

This is anagama fired ceramic classic pitcher. Thrown on the wheel, out of the German clay with granite sand. Woodfired in Karmazinu Anagama for 114 hours in 1300 degrees C. Jug features a dramatic array of colors and textures- from semi-gloss to ash-speckled matte gray and brown. Melted granite pieces in the clay visible as dark spots.
By getting this pitcher you are getting a two for one. The pitcher works great to fill your friends and your cup, but will also display a beautiful boutique of flowers. No matter its use, it does it well and looks good at the same time.

This piece is thrown on the wheel stoneware, high fired to vitrification at 1300°C centigrade to eliminate porosity, thus allowing the pieces to be used in the oven, freezer and dishwasher but nevertheless can break from mishandle.
